ISS Switzerland is the Swiss member of the International Social Service (ISS), a network working in 120 countries worldwide.
As a tool key to the success of our transnational activities and reason for our mandate in Switzerland, the ISS network allows us to intervene quickly and appropriately in 120 different countries. It works on the basis of worldwide solidarity between our different partners.
Each member can turn to another member with a case at any time. To ensure coordination is effective, our different colleagues on five continents have a shared methodology for assessing situations, mediating and providing assistance to individuals. The fact that we have the support of a well-integrated local network means we can operate with full awareness of the social, economic, legal and political context in any given country as well as its development.
